ప్రపంచ బాలకార్మిక వ్యతిరేక దినోత్సవం

పిల్లలను బాల కార్మిక వ్యవస్థ నుంచి కాపాడే లక్ష్యంతో ఏటా జూన్‌ 12న ‘ప్రపంచ బాల కార్మిక వ్యతిరేక దినోత్సవం’గా నిర్వహిస్తారు. బాలబాలికలను చదువుకు దూరం చేసి, శ్రామిక యంత్రాలుగా మార్చడాన్ని బాల కార్మిక వ్యవస్థ అంటారు. సాంఘిక, ఆర్థిక కారణాల వల్ల కొంతమంది బాలలు కార్మికులుగా మారుతున్నారు. బడిలో పాఠాలు నేర్చుకోవాల్సిన వీరి బాల్యం.. ఆటలకు దూరమై, సరైన పోషకాహారం అందక పని ప్రదేశాల్లో మగ్గిపోతోంది. బాల కార్మిక వ్యవస్థ వల్ల కలిగే నష్టాల గురించి ప్రజలతోపాటు పరిశ్రమలు, సంస్థల యాజమాన్యాలను చైతన్యపరచడం ఈ రోజు ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం. చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం: బాల కార్మికుల సమస్యలపై దృష్టి సారించడంతోపాటు ఆ వ్యవస్థను పూర్తిగా నిర్మూలించే ఉద్దేశంతో అంతర్జాతీయ కార్మిక సంస్థ (ఐఎల్‌ఓ) 2022, జూన్‌ 11న ఒక సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించింది. అందులో 14 ఏళ్ల కంటే తక్కువ వయసున్న పిల్లలను ప్రమాదకర వాతావరణంలో పనిచేయించడాన్ని చట్టపరంగా నేరంగా ప్రకటించాలని సభ్యదేశాలు తీర్మానించాయి. దీన్ని వ్యాప్తి చేసేందుకు ఒక రోజును జరపాలని నిశ్చయించాయి. ఆ విధంగా వచ్చిందే ప్రపంచ బాల కార్మిక వ్యతిరేక దినోత్సవం. దీన్ని మొదటిసారి 2022, జూన్‌ 12న ఐఎల్‌ఓ జెనీవాలోని తన ప్రధాన కార్యాలయంలో నిర్వహించింది. అప్పటి నుంచి ఏటా ఈ రోజును జరుపుతున్నారు.

బీసీజీ నివేదిక

 బోస్టన్‌ కన్సల్టింగ్‌ గ్రూప్‌ (బీసీజీ) భారతదేశంలో కృత్రిమ మేధ (ఏఐ) అభివృద్ధి, నిపుణులపై 2025, జూన్‌ 12న నివేదిక విడుదల చేసింది. దీని ప్రకారం, ప్రస్తుతం భారత్‌లో 6 లక్షల మంది ఏఐ నిపుణులు ఉండగా, 2027 నాటికి ఈ సంఖ్య 12.5 లక్షలకు చేరుకుంటుందని అంచనా.  అమెరికా తర్వాత అత్యధిక సంఖ్యలో ఏఐ నిపుణులు ఉన్నది మన దేశంలోనే. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్త ఏఐ నిపుణుల్లో 16 శాతం మంది ఇక్కడ ఉన్నారు.
