82 young artists conferred with 'Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puruskar' for the Years 2022 and 2023 at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi on 22 November 2024. The report was published by World Bank report that covers six states in India. ♦ The report serves as both a diagnostic and roadmap to providing strategic linkages and convergence between education and the jobs agenda of India. 22nd meeting of the India-Russia

♦ The 22nd meeting of the India-Russia Working Group on Military technical cooperation and defence industry was held in New Delhi on 22 November 2024. ♦ The meeting was co-chaired by Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary, Defence Production, Ministry of Defence and A Boytsov, First Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation of Russia. ♦ Defence cooperation has been a cornerstone of the India-Russia strategic partnership, guided by the Agreement on the Programme for Military-Technical Cooperation. ♦ The Agreement for the period 2021-2031 was signed during the inaugural meeting of the India-Russia 2+2 Dialogue in Delhi on December 6, 2021. ♦ The two sides also have periodic exchanges of armed forces personnel and military exercises. ♦ The India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military Technical Cooperation (IRIGC-MTC), set up in 2000, is at the apex of this structure.

కామన్‌వెల్త్‌ సదస్సు-2024

హైదరాబాద్‌లో ఐఏఎంసీ, కామన్‌వెల్త్‌ లాయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌లు ఆర్బిట్రేషన్‌-మధ్యవర్తిత్వంపై సంయుక్తంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కామన్‌వెల్త్‌ సదస్సు-2024 నవంబరు 22న ప్రారంభమైంది. ఇందులో సుప్రీంకోర్టు, హైకోర్టు న్యాయమూర్తులతోపాటు దేశ, విదేశాల నుంచి సుమారు 200 మంది న్యాయకోవిదులు పాల్గొన్నారు. మూడు రోజులపాటు కొనసాగే ఈ సదస్సు నవంబరు 24న ముగుస్తుంది. ఆర్బిట్రేషన్, మధ్యవర్తిత్వ పద్ధతులపై ప్రజల్లో విశ్వాసం పెరుగుతోందని, వివాదాల పరిష్కారానికి ఇది సులభతరమైన విధానమని సుప్రీంకోర్టు న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్‌ బి.ఆర్‌.గవాయ్‌ తెలిపారు. మధ్యవర్తిత్వం ద్వారా 2023 ఏప్రిల్‌ నుంచి 2024 మార్చి మధ్యకాలంలో 1,47,513 కేసులు పరిష్కారమైనట్లు గణాంకాలు స్పష్టం చేస్తున్నాయి. 2022-23తో పోలిస్తే ఇవి రెండు వేలు అధికం. ఇటీవల సుప్రీంకోర్టు నిర్వహించిన ప్రత్యేక లోక్‌అదాలత్‌లోనూ 9వేల కేసులు పరిష్కారమయ్యాయి.
