భారత అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధన సంస్థ (ఇస్రో) 2024, నవంబరు 1న లద్దాఖ్‌లోని లేహ్‌లో ‘అనలాగ్‌ స్పేస్‌ మిషన్‌’ను ప్రారంభించింది. భూమికి వెలుపల అత్యంత ప్రతికూల వాతావరణ పరిస్థితుల్లో ఆవాసాల ఏర్పాటు, వ్యోమగాముల మనుగడలో ఉన్న ఇబ్బందులపై అధ్యయనం చేయడం, సంబంధిత పరిజ్ఞానాలను పరీక్షించడం దీని ఉద్దేశం. దేశంలో ఈ తరహా ప్రయోగం చేపట్టడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి. * అంతరిక్ష యాత్ర చేపట్టడానికి ముందు రోదసి సంస్థలు ‘అనలాగ్‌ మిషన్‌’లను చేపడుతుంటాయి. ఇందులో భాగంగా భూమిపై రోదసి వాతావరణాన్ని పోలిన ప్రదేశాల్లో క్షేత్రస్థాయి ప్రయోగాలు నిర్వహిస్తుంటాయి. వాస్తవ ప్రయోగానికి ముందు చేపట్టే ఇలాంటి కసరత్తు వల్ల బోలెడు సమయం, డబ్బు, మానవవనరులు ఆదా అవుతాయి.
