NITI Aayog

♦ NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission and CFA Institute, a global not-for-profit organization on 19 November 2025 formalized a strategic partnership to boost financial literacy, governance across country’s innovation ecosystem. A Joint Statement of Intent in this regard was signed in New Delhi. ♦ NITI Aayog said that this collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening financial literacy, ethical decision-making, and governance standards across country’s rapidly expanding innovation and entrepreneurship landscape. ♦ It said that the partnership will extend substantial support to Atal Tinkering Labs, Atal Incubation Centres, Atal Community Innovation Centres, and early-stage startups. It aims to introduce structured capacity-building programmes, specialised financial education modules, and global best practices aligned with India’s long-term goals of fostering responsible and future-ready innovators. Under the collaboration, school innovators under Atal Tinkering Labs will gain access to structured learning modules on financial literacy and ethics.

The Indian Army

♦ The Indian Army has secured exclusive Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for its newly developed Coat Combat (Digital Print), further strengthening its modernisation and indigenisation drive. The new combat coat, unveiled in January 2025, is part of the Army’s continued efforts to enhance soldier comfort, operational efficiency, and technological self-reliance. ♦ Designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, under a consultancy project of the Army Design Bureau, the three-layered garment uses advanced technical textiles and features an ergonomic design suited for diverse terrains and climatic conditions. The coat is intended to improve mobility, durability, and overall performance during operations. ♦ With this registration, the Army now holds exclusive rights to both the design and the digital camouflage pattern. The IPR protection prevents any unauthorised manufacturing, reproduction, or commercial use by external entities. Violations will invite legal action under the Designs Act, 2000, Designs Rules, 2001, and the Patents Act, 1970, including injunctions and claims for damages.

భారతదేశం విభిన్న మతాలు, జాతులు, భాషలు, సంస్కృతి - సంప్రదాయాలకు నిలయం. ప్రజల మధ్య ఎన్ని భేదాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ అందరం ఒకటే అనే భావనను పెంపొందించడమే జాతీయ సమైక్యత. దేశ పౌరులు తామంతా భారతీయులం, మాది భారత జాతి అని మానసికంగా అనుకున్నప్పుడే ఇది సాధ్యపడుతుంది. తద్వారా దేశం సుస్థిరంగా, పటిష్టంగా ఉంటుంది. భారతదేశ తొలి మహిళా ప్రధాని ఇందిరా గాంధీ జయంతి సందర్భంగా మన దేశంలో ఏటా నవంబరు 19న ‘జాతీయ సమైక్యతా దినోత్సవం’గా (National Integration Day) నిర్వహిస్తారు. దేశ ప్రజల్లో ఐక్యత, శాంతి, ప్రేమ, సోదరభావాన్ని పెంపొందించడం ఈ రోజు ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం. చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం ఇందిరా గాంధీ 1917, నవంబరు 19న ఉత్తర్‌ ప్రదేశ్‌లోని ప్రయాగరాజ్‌ (ప్రస్తుత అలహాబాద్‌)లో జన్మించారు. ఆమె ప్రధానిగా ఉన్న సమయంలో దేశ ఐక్యత, సమగ్రత కోసం పాటుపడ్డారు. భారత సమాఖ్య నిర్మాణాన్ని బలోపేతం చేసే దిశగా ఆమె ప్రభుత్వం అనేక చర్యలు తీసుకుంది. ఇందిరా గాంధీ హయాంలో చేపట్టిన గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి, పేదరిక నిర్మూలన, అందరికీ విద్య - ఆరోగ్యం లాంటి కార్యక్రమాలు ఎంతగానో ప్రసిద్ధి చెందాయి. దేశాభివృద్ధితోపాటు జాతీయ సమగ్రతలకు ఆమె చేసిన కృషికి గుర్తింపుగా ఏటా ఆమె జయంతిని ‘జాతీయ సమైక్యతా దినోత్సవం’గా జరపాలని ప్రభుత్వం తీర్మానించింది.
