Alok Aradhe
♦ Justice Alok Aradhe was officially sworn in as the 48th Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court at Raj Bhawan in Mumbai on 21 January 2025. ♦ Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath to Justice Alok Aradhe. Justice Aradhe succeeds Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya. ♦ Justice Aradhe became the Chief Justice of Telangana HC, on July 23 2023, was first appointed the additional judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in December 2009. ♦ He was transferred to the Jammu and Kashmir HC in September, 2016, where he served until November, 2018. He also briefly served as an acting chief justice there. ♦ Justice Aradhe also served as Karnataka High Court judge from November, 2018 to July, 2023. He also served as its acting chief justice from July 3, 2022 to October 14, 2022. He has a tenure as a High Court judge until April 2026.
