♦ Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) launched two new products - Hilsa Fishery Advisory (HiFA) services and INCOIS Global Ocean Reanalysis (IGORA) Version 1. ♦ CSIR Director General N. Kalaiselvi inaugurated the services to commemorate INCOIS 26th Foundation Day on 3 February 2025. INCOIS is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), located in Hyderabad.

♦ The 13th edition of joint military exercise ‘Ekuverin’ between the Indian Army and the Maldives National Defence Force has commenced at Composite Training Centre, Maafilafushi on 2 February 2025. ♦ The 14-day exercise is aimed at enhancing interoperability in counter insurgency and counter terrorism operations, and carry out joint humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. ♦ This is a bilateral annual exercise conducted alternatively in India and Maldives. ♦ In 2023, it was conducted at Chaubatia in Uttarakhand from June 11 to 24. Ekuverin meaning ‘Friends’ in Dhivehi language.

She bagged her first Grammy nomination for the 2009 album Soul Call. ♦ Before Chandrika Tandon, India has had several musicians honored with the coveted Grammy Awards.
