ఇండియన్‌ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ కెమికల్‌ టెక్నాలజీ (ఐఐసీటీ) విశ్రాంత శాస్త్రవేత్త డాక్టర్‌ శైలజ విశిష్ట శాస్త్రవేత్తగా నియమితులయ్యారు. కౌన్సిల్‌ ఆఫ్‌ సైంటిఫిక్‌ అండ్‌ ఇండస్ట్రియల్‌ రిసెర్చ్‌ (సీఎస్‌ఐఆర్‌) 80 ఏళ్ల చరిత్రలో ఒక మహిళ ఈ హోదా పొందడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి. సాధారణంగా పదవీ విరమణ చేసిన అత్యంత నిపుణుల సేవలను వినియోగించుకునేందుకు విశిష్ట శాస్త్రవేత్త పదవి ఇస్తుంటారు. ఐదేళ్ల సర్వీసు లేదా 70ఏళ్ల వయస్సు.. వీటిలో ఏది ముందైతే అంతవరకు డాక్టర్‌ శైలజ పదవిలో ఉంటారు.
భారత వ్యోమగామి శుభాంశు శుక్లా 2025, మే 29న రోదసియాత్ర చేయనున్నారు. యాక్సియం-4 (ఏఎక్స్‌-4) మిషన్‌లో భాగంగా ఆయన అంతర్జాతీయ అంతరిక్ష కేంద్రానికి (ఐఎస్‌ఎస్‌) పయనం కానున్నారు. ఈ యాత్రలో శుక్లాతోపాటు పెగ్గీ విట్సన్‌ (అమెరికా), స్లావోస్జ్‌ ఉజ్నాన్స్కీ (పోలండ్‌), టిబర్‌ కపు (హంగరీ) కూడా పాలుపంచుకుంటారు. వీరు రెండు వారాలపాటు ఐఎస్‌ఎస్‌లో గడపనున్నారు. ఫ్లోరిడాలోని కెనడీ అంతరిక్ష కేంద్రం నుంచి స్పేస్‌ఎక్స్‌కు చెందిన డ్రాగన్‌ వ్యోమనౌకలో నలుగురు వ్యోమగాములు నింగిలోకి పయనమవుతారు. అమెరికా అంతరిక్ష సంస్థ-నాసా, భారత రోదసి పరిశోధన సంస్థ (ఇస్రో)లు సంయుక్తంగా ఈ మిషన్‌ను చేపడుతున్నాయి.
భారత నూతన ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి (సీజేఐ)గా జస్టిస్‌ భూషణ్‌ రామకృష్ణ గవాయ్‌ని రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపదీ ముర్ము 2025, ఏప్రిల్‌ 29న నియమించారు. మే 14న ఆయన చేత రాష్ట్రపతి ప్రమాణం చేయిస్తారు. ప్రస్తుత సీజేఐ జస్టిస్‌ సంజీవ్‌ ఖన్నా మే 13న పదవీ విరమణ చేయనున్నారు. ఆయన స్థానంలో 52వ సీజేఐగా జస్టిస్‌ బి.ఆర్‌.గవాయ్‌ని రాష్ట్రపతి నియమించారు.
ప్రస్తుత ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో (2025-26) వివిధ రంగాలకు రూ.6.60 లక్షల కోట్ల రుణాలు ఇవ్వాలని రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి బ్యాంకర్ల కమిటీ నిర్ణయించింది. గత ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంతో పోలిస్తే.. 22శాతం అదనంగా రుణ ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించింది. సచివాలయంలో 2025, ఏప్రిల్‌ 29న జరిగిన 231వ ఎస్‌ఎల్‌బీసీ సమావేశంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు 2025-26 వార్షిక రుణ ప్రణాళికను ఆవిష్కరించారు. ఎంఎస్‌ఎంఈ రంగానికి గత ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో (2024-25) రూ.87 వేల కోట్లు రుణంగా ఇవ్వాలని లక్ష్యంగా నిర్ణయించగా.. రూ.95,620 కోట్లు ఇచ్చినట్లు బ్యాంకర్లు వివరించారు. వ్యవసాయ రుణాల్లో 116 శాతం వృద్ధి సాధించామని.. గతేడాది ఖరీఫ్‌లో రూ.1,69,177 కోట్లు, రబీలో రూ.1,37,291 కోట్లు రుణంగా అందించామని నివేదించారు
