భారత్‌లోకి ఎఫ్‌డీఐ వరద

2025లో మొత్తం మీద మన దేశంలోకి 47 బి. డాలర్ల (రూ.4.32 లక్షల కోట్ల) విలువైన విదేశీ ప్రత్యక్ష పెట్టుబడులు (ఎఫ్‌డీఐ) తరలివచ్చాయి. 2024లో వచ్చిన ఎఫ్‌డీఐ కంటే ఇవి 73% అధికం. సేవలు, తయారీలోకి ఎక్కువ శాతం పెట్టుబడులు వచ్చాయని, ఇందుకు భారత విధానాలు మద్దతుగా నిలిచాయని ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి పేర్కొంది. ‘ద గ్లోబల్‌ ఇన్వెస్ట్‌మెంట్‌ ట్రెండ్స్‌ మానిటర్‌’ పేరిట యునైటెడ్‌ నేషన్స్‌ కాన్ఫరెన్స్‌ ఆన్‌ ట్రేడ్‌ అండ్‌ డెవలప్‌మెంట్‌ (యూఎన్‌సీటీఏడీ) ఒక నివేదికను విడుదల చేసింది. దీని ప్రకారం..  అంతర్జాతీయ ఎఫ్‌డీఐ 14% వృద్ధితో 1.6 లక్షల కోట్ల డాలర్ల (దాదాపు రూ.147 లక్షల కోట్ల) కు చేరింది. చైనాలోకి వరుసగా మూడో ఏడాదీ ఎఫ్‌డీఐలు తగ్గాయి. 2025లో 8% క్షీణతతో 107.5 బి. డాలర్లకు పరిమితమయ్యాయి.

రాష్ట్రపతి భవన్‌లో గ్రంథ్‌ కుటీర్‌

రాష్ట్రపతి భవన్‌లో భాగంగా ఒక గ్రంథ్‌ కుటీర్‌ను రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపదీ ముర్ము 2026, జనవరి 23న ప్రారంభించారు. ఇందులో తెలుగు, తమిళం, కన్నడ, ఒడియా సహా 11 ప్రాచీన భారతీయ భాషల పుస్తకాలు, రాతప్రతులకు చోటు దక్కింది. ఇందులో పురాణాలు, తత్వశాస్త్రం, భాష, చరిత్ర, పాలన, సైన్స్‌ లాంటి అంశాల పుస్తకాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పటివరకూ ఈ విభాగంలో వలస పాలనకు సంబంధించిన పుస్తకాలు ఉండేవి. తాజాగా వాటిని రాష్ట్రపతి ఎస్టేట్‌లోని ప్రత్యేక ప్రదేశానికి తరలించారు. గ్రంథ్‌ కుటీర్‌ను కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు, విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు, పరిశోధన సంస్థలు, సాంస్కృతిక సంస్థలు, దాతల తోడ్పాటుతో సిద్ధం చేశారు.

డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వో నుంచి వైదొలిగిన అమెరికా

ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ (డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వో) నుంచి తమ దేశం వైదొలిగే ప్రక్రియ పూర్తయిందని అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వం 2026, జనవరి 23న ప్రకటించింది. కొవిడ్‌ మహమ్మారిని అదుపు చేయడంలో, సంస్కరణలను అమలుచేయడంలో డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వో విఫలమైందని అమెరికా ఆరోగ్య, మానవ సేవల విభాగం తెలిపింది. ఇకపై డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వోకు అమెరికా నుంచి వచ్చే అన్నిరకాల నిధులు నిలిపివేస్తున్నామని.. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న దాని అన్ని కార్యాలయాల నుంచి యూఎస్‌ సిబ్బందిని వెనక్కి పిలిపించినట్లు వెల్లడించింది. ఇకనుంచి పరిమిత పరిధి మేరకు డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వోతో కలిసి పనిచేయనున్నట్లు యూఎస్‌ ఆరోగ్యశాఖ అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.

‘రోడ్‌మ్యాప్‌ టు 100 గి.వా. హైడ్రో పంప్డ్‌ స్టోరేజ్‌ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్‌ బై 2035-36’ నివేదిక

కేంద్ర విద్యుత్తు శాఖ 2026, జనవరి 23న ‘రోడ్‌మ్యాప్‌ టు 100 గి.వా. హైడ్రో పంప్డ్‌ స్టోరేజ్‌ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్‌ బై 2035-36’ నివేదికను విడుదల చేసింది. దీని ప్రకారం, పంప్డ్‌ స్టోరేజ్‌ ప్రాజెక్టుల్లో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ దేశంలో మూడో స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. 56,335 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో మహారాష్ట్ర, 41,525 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో ఒడిశా, 32,750 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో ఏపీ మొదటి మూడు స్థానాల్లో నిలిచినట్లు పేర్కొంది. ఈ విషయంలో ఏపీ దక్షిణాదిలో తొలి స్థానంలో ఉంది. ఏపీలో ఇప్పటికే 1,680 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యం గల ప్రాజెక్టులు అమల్లో ఉన్నాయి. మరో 2,850 మెగావాట్ల ప్రాజెక్టులు నిర్మాణంలో 12,050 మెగావాట్ల ప్రాజెక్టులు సర్వే, డీపీఆర్‌ దశలో ఉన్నాయి.

ఏపీలో ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక కేంద్రం

నాలుగో పారిశ్రామిక విప్లవంలో భాగంగా ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక (డబ్ల్యూఈఎఫ్‌) ఐదు కొత్త కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. వాటిలో ఒకదాన్ని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో పెట్టనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. ఈ తరహా కేంద్రాలు ప్రస్తుతం ముంబయి, హైదరాబాద్‌ల్లో మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ భాగస్వామ్యంతో ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక ఈ కేంద్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు.  ప్రభుత్వాలు, పరిశ్రమలతో కలిసి ఆచరణాత్మక విధానాలు రూపొందించడం, పైలట్‌ ప్రాజెక్టులు, ఆయా ప్రాంతాల ప్రాధాన్యతలను గుర్తించడంలో ఈ కేంద్రం కీలకంగా వ్యవహరిస్తుంది.
