♦ London has bagged the top ranking in the World’s Best Cities 2025 for the 10th year in a row.  New York (US), Paris (France), Tokyo (Japan), Singapore, Rome (Italy), Madrid (Spain), Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany), and Sydney (Australia) are among the top 10 cities.

♦ The annual rankings were released by Resonance Consultancy in partnership with Ipsos on 20 November 2024.

♦ The 2025 report is the first in terms of compiling perception-based data after the survey of over 22,000 people in 31 countries.

♦ The US leads the pack with 36 cities in the Top 100 best cities globally, Canada follows the neighbouring country with a distant second, having six cities in the Top 100. Cape Town and Rio de Janeiro are the new entrants in the 2025 ranking.

♦ Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai failed to make a mark in the top 100 places.
