♦ Vidarbha won their first Vijay Hazare Trophy title on 18 January 2026.

♦ They defeated Saurashtra by 38 runs in the final played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru. 

♦ Vidarbha’s total of 317/8 proved beyond Saurashtra’s reach as the twotime champions were bowled out for 279 in 48.5 overs, handing Vidarbha a memorable 38-run victory in the final.

♦ The Vijay Hazare Trophy is India’s premier domestic one day tournament, played in the 50 over List A format.

♦ It is named after legendary Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare.
