♦ The 16th edition of the Joint Special Forces Exercise VAJRA PRAHAR between India and the United States began in Himachal Pradesh on 24 February 2026.

♦ It will continue till the 16th March.

♦ The exercise is being held at the Special Forces Training School in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.

♦ The Indian Army is represented by 45 personnel from its Special Forces units, while the United States has fielded 12 personnel from the Green Berets of the US Special Forces.

♦ The exercise aims to enhance military cooperation between India and the United States by improving interoperability, jointness and exchange of special operations tactics.
