♦ The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has partnered with Google to enable the display of authorised Aadhaar centres on Google Maps, in a move aimed at improving accessibility and convenience for residents across the country. With this initiative, residents will soon be able to locate their nearest verified Aadhaar centres through Google Maps and check the services offered at each location. 

♦ The platform will also provide additional information such as centre operating hours, accessibility features including divyang-friendly infrastructure, and availability of parking facilities, wherever applicable. The service is expected to be rolled out in the coming months.
