♦ The Indian Railways has launched the SHINE (Sexual Harassment Incident Notification for Empowerment) app for women employees to strengthen workplace safety across the organization. The portal has a feature that allows lodging complaints on behalf of outside visitors, contractual employees/workers or students and on behalf of women employees.

♦ The system is integrated with the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) used by railway employees. This digital approach aims to make reporting easier while ensuring that complaints reach the appropriate authorities without delay.
