♦ Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on 25 August 2025.

♦ On this occation both nations firmed up an action plan to boost defence ties and agreed to jointly work for a peaceful and inclusive Indo-Pacific as PM Modi and Rabuka held talks to expand the overall bilateral cooperation.

♦ Rabuka arrived in New Delhi on August 24 with his spouse Sulueti Rabuka and a high-level delegation, including Health and Medical Services Minister Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu and senior government officials.
