♦ India's Sift Kaur Samra clinched two gols medals at the Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan on 26 August 2025.

♦ She won the gold medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event and also bagged the team gold with Ashi Chouksey and Anjum Moudgil.

♦ In the individual final, Sift Kaur Samra tallied 459.2 to top the standings ahead of the People’s Republic of China’s Yujie Yang, who shot 458.8.

♦ The trio of Samra, stalwart Anjum Moudgil and Ashi Chouksey also bagged the top podium in the team event with an aggregate of 1753 points.
