The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) - Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM ), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released a notification for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant Posts in DRDO labs/units across the country.

Departments: Automobile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Instrumentation Electronics Engineering, Library Science, Psychology, Book Binder, Carpenter, COPA, Electrician, Electronics, Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Turner, etc. Eligibility: For Senior Technical Assistant, a B.Sc. or Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized university is required; for Technician, a 10th pass along with an ITI certificate is necessary.
Salary: Per month Senior Technical Assistant: Rs.35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400; Technician-A: Rs.19,900 - Rs.63,200 per month.
Age Limit: Should not exceed 18-28 years as on 01.01.2026.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Tier-I and Tier-II computer-based tests, trade test, etc.

Examination Fee: Senior Technical Assistant UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 750; Technician UR/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs. 600; SC/ST/Women/Persons with Disabilities/Ex-servicemen candidates: Rs. 500. (Rs. 500 shall be refunded only to those candidates who appear in Tier-I exam).
