♦ Sarit Maheshwari was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) on 10 May 2025. 
♦ NGEL is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited.
♦ Maheshwari succeeds Rajiv Gupta, who has been repatriated to the parent company, NTPC. Prior to this role, Maheshwari led NTPC Renewable Energy Limited and NTPC Rajasthan Green Energy Limited, a 74:26 joint venture between NGEL and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam ♦ Limited. He also held key roles within the NTPC ecosystem, including as Head of Project at NTPC Korba.
