♦ Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clinched their second Women’s Premier League title at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara on 5 February 2026. RCB achieved the target of 204 runs for the loss of four wickets in 19.4 overs. Earlier, put into bat first, Delhi Capitals posted 203 runs for the loss of four in the stipulated 20 overs.

♦ Smriti Mandhana’s Bengaluru topped the leaderboard with six wins in eight league matches to qualify directly for the final, while Jemimah Rodrigues’ Delhi defeated Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator to secure a spot in the finals.

♦ With this title win, RCB now has joint-most WPL trophies (2), sharing the honour with Mumbai Indians. Previously RCB won the WPL title n 2024.

♦ Smriti also became the third Indian, and fifth player overall, to breach the 1000-run mark in WPL. She joins Nat Sciver-Brunt, Meg Lanning, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Shafali.
