♦ India captain Rohit Sharma became the second fastest batter after Virat Kohli to complete 11,000 ODI runs.

♦ The achievement came during India’s Champions Trophy 2025 clash against Bangladesh. Rohit is now the fourth Indian and the 10th player overall to score 11,000 runs in ODIs. 

♦ Rohit reached this milestone in his 270th ODI match, making him the second fastest batter to do so in terms of innings played:

♦ Virat Kohli – 222 innings

♦ Rohit Sharma – 261 innings

♦ Sachin Tendulkar – 276 innings

♦ Ricky Ponting – 286 innings

♦ Sourav Ganguly – 288 innings
