♦ Praveen Kumar was appointed as Managing Director (MD) of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). This is a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the DFCCIL.

♦ Kumar has been recommended for the post of MD of DFCCIL from a list of four candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting. The candidates on the list include DFCCIL, Ircon International Limited, and Indian Railways.
