♦ Prabhakar Raghavan was appointed as Google’s Chief Technologist on 23 October 2024. Previously, he served as the senior vice president overseeing Google Search, Assistant, Geo, Ads, Commerce, and Payments products. 

♦ Raghavan graduated with a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
