♦ MNVS Prabhakar was appointed as the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

♦ The decision was taken at a high-level meeting of the Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) held in New Delhi on 14 March 2026.

♦ Currently he is the Executive Director at NMDC Steel Limited.
