♦ The Ministry of Women and Child Development launched PANKHUDI, an integrated digital portal designed to streamline Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and partnership initiatives focused on women and child development. Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi unveiled the portal on 8 January 2026.

♦ The portal aims to consolidate contributions and collaborations from NGOs, companies, CSR contributors, NRIs, government agencies and individuals working in areas such as nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare, rehabilitation, women’s safety and empowerment.

♦ PANKHUDI supports flagship missions of the Ministry, including Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya and Mission Shakti. 

♦ With over 14 lakh Anganwadi Centres, around 5,000 Child Care Institutions, 800 One Stop Centres, 500 Shakhi Niwas and more than 400 Shakti Sadan expected to benefit, the portal is aimed at improving service delivery and ease of living for beneficiaries nationwide.
