♦ According to the Official Airline Guide (OAG) data, India became the third-largest domestic airline market globally. As per the data, India’s domestic airline capacity has doubled in a decade to 15.5 million in April 2024 from 7.9 million in April 2014. 

♦ The US (86.1 million) and China (67.8 million) are holding the top two positions. Brazil (9.7 million) and Indonesia (9.2 million) are at 4th and 5th positions respectively.
