♦ New Zealand clinched the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 title on 20 October 2024. They defeated South Africa by 32 runs in the final held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.  It was New Zealand's maiden T20 World Cup title, men's and women's both. 

♦ This was the Kiwis’ third-ever final of the showpiece event and after two successful attempts, they finally have their hand on the coveted trophy.

♦ The champions New Zealand got a cash prize of USD 2.34 million (Rs19.6 crore). The first runners-up South Africa was awarded a cash-prize of USD 1.17 million (Rs 9.8 crore).
