♦ National Productivity Day is celebrated every year in India on 12 February to commemorate the founding of the National Productivity Council (NPC).

♦ It is a part of a week-long event, taking place from February 12 to 18. NPC was registered on February 12, 1958, under the Societies Registration Act, of 1960.
