♦ The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 on September 4.
♦ This is the tenth edition of the rankings, which list the top universities, colleges, and professional institutions across India.
♦ Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras topped the overall category for the seventh consecutive year.
♦ This year’s rankings have been released across 17 categories – overall, SDGs institutes, universities, colleges, research institutions, engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, dental, law, architecture and planning, agriculture and allied sectors, open universities, skill universities, and state public universities.
