♦ The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved eight important National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects at a total cost of Rs.50,655 crore on 2 August 2024. The total length of the corridor is 936 kilometres  These projects will improve logistics efficiency, reduce congestion and enhance connectivity across the country. 

♦ Under these projects, a six-lane Agra – Gwalior National High-Speed Corridor of 88 kilometers will be developed on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode for Rs.4613 crore rupees. It will also include a four-lane Kharagpur – Moregram National High-Speed Corridor. The 231 kilometre 4-lane access-controlled high-speed corridor between Kharagpur and Moregram will be developed in Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) for Rs.10,247 crore rupees.
