The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. NEET is mandatory for admission into MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in government and private institutions.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026

Eligibility: Must have passed Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

Age Limit: Must have completed 17 years of age.

Examination Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).

Application Fee: The application fee is Rs.1,700 for General category candidates, Rs.1,600 for General EWS/OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs.1,000 for SC, ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates. For candidates from other countries the application fee is Rs.9500.

Last date for online applications: 08.03.2026.

NEET exam date: The exam will be held on May 4th, from 2 PM to 5 PM.
