♦ State-owned iron ore miner NMDC Ltd's subsidiary Legacy Iron Ore Ltd started its operation to mine gold in Western Australia, the government said on 5 November 2023.

♦ NMDC commenced its mining operation at the Mount Celia gold project located in Western Australia. This is the first gold mine under NMDC Ltd.
