♦ Minakshi Hooda and Jaismine Lamboria won gold medals in the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool on 14 September 2025.

♦ Meenakshi Hooda defeated 3-time world champion Kazakhstan's Nazym Kyzaibay with 4-1 in the final match of the 48kg weight category.

♦ Meenakshi is the second Indian boxer to win a gold medal in this tournament. 

♦ Before Meenakshi, Jasmine Lamboria defeated Poland's Julia Szeremeta with a 4-1 split decision in 57 kg.

♦ Nupur Sheoran took silver in the 80+kg division, after losing to Poland’s Agata Kaczmarska in the final.

♦ Pooja Rani secured bronze in the women’s 80kg event.
