♦ The Defence Ministry on 28 November 2025 signed Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) with the United States to secure sustainment support for the Indian Navy’s fleet of MH-60R helicopters.

♦ The deal is worth Rs. 7,995 crore and was formalised in New Delhi under the Foreign Military Sales programme. 

♦ MH-60R, manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corporation, is an all-weather helicopter designed to support multiple missions with state of the art avionics and sensors.

♦ The LOAs were inked under the foreign military sales programme of the U.S.
