Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has released a notification for One-Year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act. Online applications are invited from eligible Engineering Graduates, Engineering Diploma holders, and General Stream Graduates for the Apprentices Batch 2025-26. The training will be governed by the Board of Apprenticeship Training- Western Region (BOAT-WR).

1. Engineering Graduate Apprentices- 110 Posts

2. General Stream Graduate Apprentices - 60 Posts

3. Diploma Apprentice Trainees- 30 Posts

Departments: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Shipbuilding Technology / Naval Architecture, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BSW.

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Engineering Degree / Diploma / General Graduation in relevant disciplines from a recognized University, Institution, The qualifying examination should have been completed on or after 01 April 2021. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act are not eligible. Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Age Limit: 18 - 27 As on 01.03.2026.

Stipend: Per Month For Graduate Apprentices Rs. 12,300; for Diploma Apprentices Rs.10,900.

How to Apply: 

Eligible candidates must apply online only through the official MDL website. Applicants should register on the MDL Apprentice Portal, fill in the application form with correct details, upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and certificates, and submit the form online. Candidates must also register on the NATS 2.0 portal and provide the registration number during application submission. No application fee is required.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on Education Qualifications, interview.
