♦ Kirti Ganorkar was appointed as the managing director (MD) of the Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, effective 1 September 2025, for a term of five years.

♦ Dilip Shanghvi, the current MD, will step down from the role and transition to executive chairman of the board. 

♦ Ganorkar joined Sun Pharma in 1996.
