♦ Shooter Kanak has bagged India’s first gold medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany on 21 May 2025.

♦ She scored 239 in the Women’s 10 metre Air Pistol final.

♦ Anna Dulce of Moldova won a silver medal with 237.3 score.  

♦ Chinese Taipei’s Chen Yen-Ching won the bronze medal with a score of 216.8.

♦ In 2024, Kanak won bronze at the Junior World Championships in the 10m air pistol with a score of 217.
