Ordnance Factory Itarsi has released a notification for the engagement of Tenure-based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) personnel. These positions are on a contract basis initially for one year, with potential extensions up to a maximum of four years based on factory requirements and individual performance.

Chemical Process Worker (CPW): 265 Vacancies

(General-108; OBC-39, SC-39, ST-53, EWS-26, Ex-Servicemen-26)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT (formerly NCTVT) or NCVET. The primary eligible trade is AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant). However, candidates from various feeder trades such as Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, and Turner who have completed apprenticeship in Ordnance Factories or Government/Private organizations with government affiliation are also eligible.

Basic Pay: Rs.19,900 per month.

Age Limit: Should be between 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST; three years for OBC.

Selection Process: Selection is based on a merit list weighted 80% on NAC exam marks and 20% on the Trade Test.
