♦ Jannik Sinner clinched his second-straight Australian Open men's singles title on 26 January 2025. He defeated Germany's Alexander Zverev with 6-3, 7-6(4), 6-3 in the final. 
♦ It was Sinner's third Grand Slam title and second in succession, following his US Open victory last year (2024). The 23-year-old also became the first Italian to win three Grand Slams. Sinner is the youngest man to leave Melbourne Park with the trophy two years in a row since Jim Courier in 1992-93.
