♦ International Migrants Day is observed every year on December 18. The day commemorates the adoption of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families. On 4 December 2000, the UN General Assembly (UNGA) designated 18 December as International Migrants Day.
