♦ The International Conference on Plant Health Management (ICPHM) 2023 was inaugurated at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) Hyderabad on 15 November 2023. This was concluded on 18 November 2023. 

♦ This event is organized by the Plant Protection Association of India (PPAI), an organization with a rich heritage of 50 years in advancing plant protection at the national and international level. 

♦ The primary objective of ICPHM 2023 is to explore and capitalize on global opportunities in innovation and sustainability in the field of research and entrepreneurship related to plant health management. 

♦ On this occasion, PPAI President D Sarath Babu said that plant health management holds the key to assuring good yields. Crop protection is considered crucial to the production of a safe and sufficient supply of agricultural commodities across the globe.
