The Indian Army has released the notification for 67th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women Course – October 2026. Unmarried women engineering graduates are invited to apply online for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army and Women (SSC Tech-67 Oct 2026) including Widows of Defence Personnel SSCW(Non-Tech)(Non UPSC)-124 Cours. The course will commence at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA) in October 2026.

Engineering Disciplines:

Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, 

Educational Qualification:

SSC (Tech): B.E./B.Tech graduates or final year students who can produce proof of passing degree by 01 April 2026.

SSC(W)(Non-Tech): Graduation in any discipline.

Physical Standards:

Women: 2.4 km run in 13 mins, 15 push-ups, 2 pull-ups.

Basic swimming knowledge is required.

Age Range

SSC (Tech) Men & Women: 20-27 years (born between 01 oct 1999 and 30 Sep 2006).

Widows of Defence Personnel: Maximum 35 years.

Salary Range

Lieutenant: Rs.56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500 (Level-10).

Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 15,500/month.

Training stipend: Rs.56,100/month.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting - based on cumulative marks up to the final year/semester.

SSB Interview- 5-day interview at Selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar).

Medical Examination Final Merit List etc.
