♦ Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors on 30 March 2026. The two leaders reviewed the growing India-Netherlands partnership and explored opportunities to expand collaboration in areas such as semiconductors, green hydrogen, water management and talent mobility.

♦ Semiconductors emerged as a major area of focus, with India advancing its domestic manufacturing capabilities and the Netherlands known for its expertise in semiconductor technology and equipment.

♦ The leaders also discussed cooperation in large-scale water management projects, where Dutch experience in flood control, delta management and sustainable water solutions can support India’s efforts towards water security and climate resilience.
