♦ Telangana Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan resigned from her posts on 18 March 2024. She sent her resignation to the President of India Droupadi Murmu.

♦ She was appointed as Governor of Telangana on September 1, 2019. She was given additional charge as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry on February 16, 2021. She was state president of the BJP’s Tamil Nadu before taking over as governor of Telangana.
