♦ Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan launched the PMeVIDYA DTH 24x7 Channel for Indian Sign Language (ISL) in New Delhi on 6 December 2024.

♦ The channel is devoted to the promotion of Indian Sign Language and has been conceptualized to promote ISL as a language and a subject.
