Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a notification for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) posts under Sports Quota - 2025.

Constable (General Duty)- 549 Posts (Sports Quota)

(Male: 277, Female: 272)

Sports disciplines: Athletics, Boxing, Basketball, Hockey, Football, Swimming, Gymnastics, Shooting, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Volleyball, Handball, Table Tennis, Cycling, Archery, Badminton, and etc.

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized board. Applicants should be meritorious sportspersons who have won medals or participated in International / National / Youth / Junior level competitions recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Indian Olympic Association (IOA), or Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, during the last two years from the closing date of application.

Age: 18 years- 23 years.

Salary: Per month Rs.21,700- Rs.69,100. 

Selection Procedure: Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Merit List, Detailed Medical Examination (DME) etc.
