♦ Indian Railways successfully conducted a trial run of a eight-coach MEMU train on the world's highest railway bridge Chenab Rail Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir on 20 June 2024. The bridge constructed between Ramban and Reasi districts. 

♦ Chenab Bridge project was approved in 2003 and contracted in 2008. It was fully completed and was inaugurated in August 2022.

♦ The Chenab Railway Bridge has an overall length of 1315 m and towering 359 m above the riverbed, making it taller than the Eiffel Tower.
