♦ Star Indian shuttlers Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty had to settle for a men's doubles bronze after losing their BWF World Championships semi-final on 30 August 2025.

♦ They lost 19-21, 21-18, 12-21 against the Chinese pair of Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi. 

♦ This was the Indian pair's second medal at the Worlds, having won a bronze in 2022.

♦ They are only the third Indian pair/player to win multiple medals at the annual competition after PV Sindhu (5) and Saina Nehwal (2).
