♦ Indian Olympic Association (IOA) constituted an Ad Hoc committee to observe and supervise the operations of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) on 27 December 2023. IOA Executive Council Member Bhupinder Singh Bajwa was appointed as Chairman of this committee, and MM Somaya and Manjusha Kanwar were members. 

♦ The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports suspended the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) on December 24.
