♦ India finished second in the medal tally with 24 medals at the Asian Athletics Championships 2025 in Gumi, South Korea on 31 May 2025.

♦ India clinched eight gold, 10 silver and six bronze in the Championships. 

♦ On 31 May, India bagged 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.

♦ In the women’s 4×100 metre relay race, Indian team of Srabani Nanda, Abhinaya Rajarajan, Sneha SS, and Nithya Gandhe claimed silver medal.

♦ In womens 5000 metres final, Parul Chaudhary clinched silver, while Sachin Yadav claimed silver in Men’s Javelin Throw.

♦ Pooja won a bronze in womens 800 metres final, while Animesh Kujur claimed it in 200 metre event and Vithya Ramraj in 400 metre Hurdles.
