♦ Arvinder Singh Sahney was appointed Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of state-run Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for a five-year term on 13 November 2024.

♦ He succeeded V. Satish Kumar. Currently, Arvinder Singh is the executive director of IOC (Business Development - Petrochemicals). 

♦ Arvinder joined IOC in 1993 following a brief stint at Tata Chemicals. He was appointed executive director of the company in February 2022.
