Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education invites online applications for DEECET-2024 for admission into two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) offered in Government District institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and also in Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions for the academic year 2024-25.

Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (DEECET-2024)

Course: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

Category seats: Mathematics- 25%, Physical Science- 25%, Biological Science- 25%, Social Studies- 25% of seats.

Eligibility: 50% of marks in Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent.

Age limit: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 1 September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission.

Application fee: Rs.750.

Payment of Fees through Payment gateway: 23.04.2024 to 08.05.2024.

Online submission of application: 24.04.2024 to 09.05.2024.

Generation of Hall-tickets: 15.05.2024 to 20.05.2024.

Issue of Hall-tickets through online: 21.05.2024 onwards.

Date of DEECET examination-2024: 24.05.2024.

Date of announcement of results and ranks: 30.05.2024.

Handing over of list of colleges granted afliation for that particular year: 29.04.2024.

Verification of certificates in Govt. DIETs and issue of Final Admission letter: 12.06.2024 to 15.06.2024.

First day of Instruction: 20.06.2024.
